Anti wrap bar shackle angle

The shackle should be perpendicular to the imaginary centerline of your traction bar.

so slightly back then for a bar thats angled up?

I would like to know the specifics on this as well. I plan on changing mine during my next big "mods" as I have a TON of anti-squat from mine.

Neither. Just look at what the bar is supposed to do, which is prevent the axle from turning along the axis of the tubes/shafts. So basically draw a straight line from the axle tube to the bushing/joint at the front end of your bar. The shackle should be perpendicular to that line.

Shackle angle is not going to change AS, the angle of the bar will.

A little confused. Any way to get a sketch?

So what practical things can be done to limit AS and keep it closer to nuetral? You could make the bar so long that the "lift" force is reduced, but most of us have a TC and Tranny up there. You could make the bar vertical, but articulation would require a super long shackle.

OK, I found somebody else's sketch and ripped it off. I added the red line, which is the imaginary center line. This means the shackle angle should be more like the blue line than how it is shown, straight up and down.

Pointing the bar up more will make the biggest difference, but this is where you're seeing the limits of a leaf sprung/traction bar setup. We're basically talking about links here.
