I was able to score 4 decent BF Goodrich M&S tires that are 245/75/17...load range E too...but my truck has 16" rims...

I'd like to use them on my '82 K2500 ,provided I can find some salvage yard stock steel rims cheap that'll fit and have the right backspacing..otherwise I'll probably sell or trade them for 16" tires instead...

Anyone have any answers as to what rims would work?...
I assume they may not have to be GM rims as long as the center holes are big enough?..

I think you have to bore hte center of the h2's.

I ran a set of 2005ish stock GM wheels on mine, that were 17". Kinda rare though.

I have seen someone running steel wheels off of a Dodge on a squarebody Chevy once. I don't think it required any modifications. They were a lot cheaper and easier to find than the H2 wheels was his reason for it. I just don't remember what year truck to look at for them. Take a tape measure and look for something with no more than 4.5" of backspacing if you go look at anything.

H2 rim's. I have them on my 2001Hd and for awhile on my 1975 stepside. Looked good on the HD. Did not like them on the stepside. Went with old school Welds 16.5 on the stepside.

Here is a better pic, these are off a 2007. They are now on my 2003 2500.

Thanks for the info--I'll keep my eyes open for any that might work--not really concerned with looks, plain old steel stock rims off anything suitable is good enough for my heap...if I cant find rims that'll work cheap,I may just trade or sell the tires instead...dont have much cash to waste..I'd like to use these tires, but if I can swap them for e range 16's,that would be the easiest way out.

Years ago,you could buy new white spoked or steel stock looking aftermarket rims for about the same price as a salvage yard used one,in about any size and backspacing you wanted..
...been looking online,I guess those days are gone !..:eek1:
