I keep getting wierd ideas.:eek1: My buddy is giving me an early 70's chevy c20 and I'm kicking around the idea of a lifted 2wd. I'v only been able to find lifts though for the 1/2 tons so the front end may get swapped to a half ton in order to allow for the lifted spindles and springs. I'd probably scrap the bed and the front sheetmetal in favor of a 04 conversion and bed sides.

Or depending on wheelbase I'd drop my 68 burb body onto the 70's c20 and have a 2wd that way.:confused::confused::wink1:

Have you found a lift for the 70 C10?
I had been looking for a lift for a 75 and all I found was 88 and up.
I wish you said something about your burb before, I just scrapped a perfect 2wd C20 frame and suspension.
And I mean PERFECT :(

yeah CSI in portland stocks everything for the 73 to 91 c10 series. spindles and springs. They also offer a ball joint spacer for another 1/2" or so lift.

So you are using the 73-91 lifts on the 70?
I know the only difference is the ball joint, and some people change that to the later model to use the later model spindles, so I guess that would work.
:D
