probably seen this already... not a 53,54 but the tri-5's are nice.

I've got a 56 2door 150 wagon, that doesn't count though does it?

the friday has been on vacation and I just heard he had something crush his leg atr the warehouse so he won't be driving truck for a while. he has it in winter storage just waiting for me to get it.

I just got this 55. Came with 454, headers, 850CFM Holley, straight front axle, and other goodies. I plan to build it like the 1960's style gassers. See if I can figure out the christmas tree lights!!

I could use some help on rear axle selection. The hot rod guys talk big on the Ford 9 inch. But they also recommend the Chevy 10 bolt. Is this the same rear end some use in our trucks? I have always used 14 bolt rears, for my trucks, but I am not familiar with the sedan stuff. My 55 has the original rear end, so I think I may need an upgrade for the drags!!

I like the 9" Ford myself. No c-clips like the salisbury type rear-ends (although you could get a c-clip eliminator kit) and if you have a couple of other pigs with gears set-up in them already, a gear change is an under an hour job.
