Would there be any advantage(s) to having a TH400 4X4 case over a 2WD case?

I have a beefed-up TH475, and was wondering if I should swap the current case for a TH400 4X4 case.

bolt on dust cover for convertor area. then it has 2 bolt bosses for brace rods to motor mounts to help stuffin up the setup.

but i have seen 2x4 cases set the same as 4x4 with out the 3 bolt holes drilled and taped for the cover. so make sure yours is not one and you wast your time with the swap.

My fab guy showed me one of his '60's Nova (Drag car) with that and the braces used.

Would the bolt boss' be on the cover then?

Good point.
