Just wondering if there are any Arizona people in here who like to go and run the rocks? I have
been wheelin' for a few years now.... and I hardly ever see a full size rig out on the trail. I would
like to go wheeling with some full sizes some time to see how they really do!

Holy sheeit man, great pix! I tried doing something similar here in Tucson at Chivo Falls, but one hub failed to get locked and I didn't make it too far before I slipped off the rock. I'll get it next time!

Hey, I was hoping to make this run with you guys, but my oldest kids football team made the city playoffs and my other kid has a bowlgame that same weekend. A friend of mine bought a blazer a few months ago and we go out nearly every weekend now. So I've had lots of practice!

Hey Bluesman, where is your FIL's shop? A friend needs his top repaired. I don't hate Phoenix, just the sundevils!<img src="http://coloradok5.com/forums/images/icons/smile.gif">What have you got on the sub? I could use a door or two for my blazer.

It was pretty easy to do. The first side was a pain. I just took my grinder and hacked away. It was grind and check, grind and check. The other side was easier, cos I had a better idea of how big to make the cut out.
I was told a sawzall blade wouldnt cut too well....... when I chewed up my last grinding wheel I decided, instead of running out to get more wheels, to use the sawzall, dull blade and all. It cut right thru the metal! So basically when you do it use the grinder to make four cuts thru the metal, then use the sawzall to finish the cuts. It's easier and not as messy! As far as strength goes I've had no problems as of yet. I do plan on throwing some gussets on there someday.

WESTSIDE!!! I got your back, I live on the westside too. Glad to see another westsider on the page. Right now I'm in Colorado at school, but Phoenix is my home, and where my Jimmy is at. Its chillin on the westside waiting on me to get back and give it a little TLC. I'll be back in about 2 weeks, I can't wait!

My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.

I am in Phoenix, well the farthest south of it. I live in ahwatukee, in the other side of south mountain by Firebird raceway.

Hey Stu!
We've been doing some impromptu runs out to reddington, were going to saturday again. Pugsley said he might come along since he's in town starting friday. Maybe we can get Sinan to come out as well. You guys can teach me some tricks. I've got a buddy with an open wheel wonder. This is his 4th trip EVER! Lemme know.
