I Was thinking of buying a lock right for my dana 60 i run 38 would it work good or is it not worth it. also if any body has a good used locker for sell let me know

i have one in my 60 and 37" ssr's and not doing anything crazy but i've beaten on it pretty good and for the price, its great.

im running one. ive been beating on mine pretty damn hard the last few rides. just broke a u-joint on my axle shaft but the lockrite is still going. i run 40's btw.

I've been running one for years, first with 38's and now with 40's. I've broken several 30-spline stubs with no locker issues.

78Buford ran one for awhile in his F-250 with a big block, first with 38's and then 42's. It finally failed but the issue was that it would not consistently stayed locked going forward but worked in reverse...not like it completely grenaded.

I have one in my K30 with 40's. I have wheeled it very hard, and never had issues. I keep an entire spare one in the truck box, but never needed it. Works great.

when that happens its b/c the teeth on one side is worn, if you swap the gears then it will catch in forward again but slip in reverse

560hp and an idiot with heavy foot. Never had a prob in mine. 4.10 gears and 38" tsl's.

I've only ever heard of problems when they are used in smaller axles like 10 bolts and dana 35's. The parts are smaller in those so they break easier I guess.

I know a couple people with D60 lockrights, haven't heard of any problems with either.

D60 lockrights seem to hold up ok, the D60 carrier is pretty stout.
