So i was thinking about diesel Vs. gas engines, over thinking as i often do
i'm trying to figure out what is really the best engine design. We all know the pros and cons of each but i was wondering how much of that is due to the way they are made. for example a diesel is much higher compression and usually much longer stroke ext. So if we put aside the reasons why we can lets say we had 2 engines that were exactly the same, compression, bore, stroke the whole 9 but one was gas and one was diesel would they both be the same? would the diesel still have more power. or maybe the gas
so what do you guys think? any experts around that really know the intimates of the designs and stuff. lets see where this goes thanks guys
