Just wondering what the use of this particular tool may be... it looks as tho it wouldn't work as well as a regular tubing bender.

thats because its a pipe bender :D

a lot of exhaust shops use those... it doesnt make a smooth bend, its kinda makes a Creased bend, for lack of a better word..

i bought one just like that from harbor freight, it kink the tube badly:mad: i just bought an m-tech model 3 shoulda saved my hundred bucks for money towards that!

KMS tools in Vancouver is now a distributor for JD2 and keeps some benders and dies in stock. Might save you some customs hassle...

princes auto also has them for cheaper.

they will work OK for bending tube ONLY if its not too thick, 1/8 good.
and the tube must fit PERFECTLY if there is a little side play it will flaten the tube.

i have hurd a trick for makeing it work better, and it is to weld and end shut, and pack the tube with sand pack it all in there then cap the other end.
i uess to help it from colapsing.

never tryed it.
