Friend has a 1970 International Pickup truck with what he says is a dana 44 rear end. It's posi, unsure of gear ratio. I assume he is right with the D44 comment, since he put the posi unit in it.
Am I correct in thinking Jeep folks use these axles a fair amount?
He's planning on taking the truck to the wrecking yard running complete (bad clutch which is apparently impossible to get, truck not worth the money/work) but I figure if the D44 rear or the posi unit is worth something to Jeepers, (assuming the posi would work in a front D44 as well) I could put it on craigslist for him.
