Any ideas on how to mount these rear seats?

I recently purchased a set of 00-06 Tahoe/Suburban seats for the front and they also included the middle and 3rd row seats in the sale. I am interested in installing the 50/50 split 3rd row into the back of my 70 Blazer, but was curious if anyone else has installed them before or has any ideas on how to do so.

They sell the brackets for them on Ebay, but was wondering if there is any way to fabricate something in the back for them to work properly or what would be needed for them to work.

Ebay bracket example:

Here is a picture I came across that shows the brackets installed with the proper flooring that has the mounting holes and dips in the floor:

Could brackets be make to raise and mount these brackets up a little to compensate for the dips of the floor or is there any other ideas someone might have?

Thanks for any ideas, suggestions and pics anyone might have. :D

I'd go to a junk yard and have them torch out the whole thins about 6-12 inches aroung the mounting points and then weld the new floor in the old. so that when the seats are out you don't have a braket sticking up to trip/cath your knees on..

also the later suburbans . like 89-91 i think could also come withh 3rd row seating , so their might be more of that style in the junk yards.

my .2 cents

A boardmember over at 67-72chevytrucks.com just posted some pics of his interior and he is using that style seat. Here is a link to his website and there are two pages worth of interior pics that show what he did.

BTW, his is by far one of the best looking interior's I've ever seen.

I saw that interior and that just looks incredible. I'm not sure, but I think those type of brackets that mount into the floor are for seats prior to 2000. My seats are two seperate 50/50 split seats with integrated seat belts and when looking at the brackets, they appear to mount on top of the floor like this example: http://z71tahoe-suburban.com/iboard/...?showtopic=795

The brackets he is using I've seen on Ebay and they say they are for seats up to 1999, so I don't think those would work being that mine are two seperate seats that need to be mounted together.
