Any K5 ers in the Sacramento.....

I live in Sacramento in the Florin area. Sara (SarazK5) lives in the north part of town... Xplosuv lives out in Orangevale I think... Delta lives around here someplace I think... so there's a few of us!

Burt4x4 is in Modesto area (I believe)

Yeah Im thinking about moving to Stockton and working in Lodi. I was thinking of putting the truck on the barge or taking the Alcan not sure yet.

I guess if I move there I will have to install the AC again.

Got that right! We get some nice hot weather. Although this summer we seemed to luck out and not get hammered as hard as they thought. Not saying it was cool, cuz it wasn't but not the wrost summer by far. If you are gonna be working in Lodi consider some other areas too nearby like Galt, Elk Grove, Wilton, Harold and other areas north or Lodi and south of Sacramento. There's tons of building going on in many price ranges so you might want to see what they offer....

if you are goin to move here try and stay out of south and south east stockton...north east and north west are the better areas...almost be better off finding a place in lodi.

Cuz south Stockton is da ghetto... LOL no really... not the best area of Stockton by far. I am not sure if I heard this right and maybe Chaz can set me straight but I think that part of Stockton actually was like 3rd highest in the state for car theft last year? Not sure about the what part of town it's considered in but stay away from Delta College area... I had several soccer games there and everytime I drove there it always struck me how the neighborhood around it was kinda gangsta like. Like Chaz said look into Lodi and even Elk Grove. You have to drive a bit to get to Lodi from EG but the traffic is going the other way north while you are heading south. EG is a growing area with tons of things which might suit your needs.... I really suggest checking into it....

Morada is kinda bad too...i lived in there for about 10 years...our house was broke into about 5 times...the first time they broke into our shop we had in the back yard and stole my dads 1925 Harley Davidson...the back tire was off of it when it was in the shop because he had got a flat tire earlier that day...but the guys that broke in put the tire back on the rim and put the rim back on the motor cycle and rolled it out of the shop...what a bucnh of bastards!..oh well we got it back about a year later...they guys that took to striped it down and hid parts of it under their house, barn etc etc...they ened up living less that a half mile from us....but i would never live there again...when my parents split my dad stayed in the house in morada and my mom moved to lodi...i was more than ready to get out of morada so i moved with my mom..

the delta college area is not too bad as long as you stay north of march lane.....or right around UOP is good...but if you stay north of march lane and west of el dorado that would prob be your best area for stockton...

Yeh, Im in sac as Steph already said. I live up near madison/I-80. My aunt used to live in Stockton, I used to go there and to Lodi a lot. She lived in a nice part of stockton on a mad made lake, but I think i would rather live in Lodi than Stockton. Hey Chaz.. don't you still have a room for rent in Lodi? hehe Maybe you can rent it to him! What are you going to be doing for a living in Lodi? Didn't realize there was a big job market there. If you lived in Elk Grove or Galt the commute to Lodi wouldn't be bad. There are some nice areas along the delta also, as long as you stay away from meth island!
