I am overhauling the old man's Super M T/A and semi restoring it. Anyone know any good sites for info on them, or a good place to get parts? How about a place to buy new head studs for a reasonable price?

I used to be on www.ytmag.com all the time in high school.

Theres also an old tractor junkyard and parts supplier I used to go to. Schwanke truck and tractor in willmar Mn. They have all kinds of stuff for all the brands. I remember them having a crazy amount of heads, would think they would have the studs too.

Is the T/A still good? I know thats a common failure area, and I spent my fair share of time on a regular M farmall a few weeks ago pulling a friends truck out when he got it stuck.

Sorry I couldnt help more, I'm more into the green ones.

"Ford Truck Enthusiasts.com" has a few IH tractor guy's, on there.
Just tellin' what I know. :thumb:

If you can stand all the bs, the IH section on pirate has a few people that really know their stuff when it comes to IH.

My dad is a tractor mechanic and they used to sell IH equipment and parts where he works till IH sold out to new holland. Now they cant get anything otherwise I could probably get the parts and ship them to you fairly cheap.
