any one ever change seals in a np 205

i think i need new seals in my transfer case i keep getting tranny fluid in my transfer case my trans was just rebuilt and i thought that might help the problem but still getting fluid in transfer case bad trans rebuild or bad seal???

did you change the o-ring seal too? you also have to be carefull when you put the two back together without damaging the o-ring. any pitting along the seal contact? also did you lubricate the seals or run them dry?

I am assuming you have the th350/np205 setup.

Mines leaking also but from the front output shaft.

I'm hoping I can change it while its still in the truck, anybody ever tried it that way?
