Any one know how to find the tach lead on a 87 toyota camry?

I know that this is not a chevy related question but no one responded in the other rides forum. All i need to know is what wire to tap into to get the tach signal. The car is a 87 toyota camry with a 2.0 liter. Thanks in advance for the help.

i would start at the coil...guessing its a similar setup

well it has kinda the incap coil thing goin on. (no coil wire to center of cap) so it leavs me at a loss as to where (and how) to find the negitive side of the coil. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
