I used a hydro clutch when I had a nv4500. There might be pics in my build thread. I did use an adapter to convert from a manual and it should match a 465 pretty close.
I did it in 2005 when I shoe horned a 454 in.. my memory on this is a bit cloudy but it works awesome!!
I used:
GM Hydro Master late 80's I think
1980 (kinda sure about the year?) Toyota LandCruser Slave cylinder
To mount the LandCruser slave I used this bell housing adapter from Advanced Adapters Slave Bracket
I mounted my own return springs to the clutch fork to insure it return fully
hmmm... I'm sure there is more I forgot...
I will go out in the garage and get pics is a bit.
One thing I remember, The Master to the firewall needed a 1/2 spacer to move it towards the front of the rig for the pushrod to line up to my factory SM465 clutch pedal..
be right back...
placement of the mater reservoir to the top right of the break booster setup..
Another memory = the "push-rod" bolt you see the slave to the fork = that is a bolt I cut the head off and shaped the end into a bullet head to fit into the slave cylinder contact point. so use the whatever length bolt you need to make proper contact for the slave to fork
