looking to buy and build a 1990 suburban 2500 4x4 (350/th400) are there any performance products that work and are smog legal? like headers, bigger throttle bodies, etc?

I bought the throttle spacer/injector spacer/salad bowl deal from cfm and didnt see anything really, i did notice a difference after i put a different exhaust on. not much but some.

Anyone use something like this and experience any performance gains?

I already plan on a good exhaust system, just looking for idea's on the top side of the engine, like ditching the belt fan for an electric for a couple ponie's... stuff like that

www.tbichips.com has lots of good info and dyno prints.

intake/cam/exaust is 3 first basic steps for the best bang for the buck. then get stock tb bored out. this will require chip burn for best performance.

go look in our efi section for good mods and input.

i added basically all that stuff and i really didnt notice anything, woudnt buy it again, as far as replacing the belt fan for an electric fan, did that too didnt notice any gains, would only do that if u plan on water crossings.
