Found a 91 yesterday in mint condition 15 miles from home, Gave it to my wife for christmas, she wanted big tires so tire shop installed 33"s on stock aluminum rims, they said no problem but picked it up after close of shop Friday night and steering arm rubs when turning all the way right to park. Any simple solutions?? They look to good to go back to 31's. Steve

your wife is awesome, not many of the girls i know even care about trucks. get new rims(less backspacing), or for even cheaper but not recomended: wheel spacers...

Don't know what tires you have, but the BFG Mud Terrains are available in a 33x10.50x15--I've got a set on my wife's 89 burb, and they clear just fine.
The truck will be getting a 3" lift, but I've only rubbed once during a hunting trip.

Thanks for the hints, one question though if I get different rims could I go to 35's with out the lift? Wifey loves the K5's all her friends thinks shes nuts but she likes the attention of the monster truck. Not to many would drive a 73 one ton K5 with 39.5's all the way across SD to have for a beer hauler during the bike ralley. I think Ill keep her.
