Any storage tips for the tow rig?

If you think about it, most of us have had our trucks on jack stands for more than a month at a time without starting them or doing anything.

True cbbr (although I haven't... most I've been down was about a week)... but I was asking b/c its a "new" truck and I haven't ever let a vortec sit so I wasn't sure...
But from what I've read it looks like I shouldn't even worry... check the coolant, lock it up and leave it. Then when I get back fire it up and let it warm up all the way before taking off...

Filled my tow rig last week, $181, checked my reciepts had filled it last in March 2005 granted I have driven it since then but it has sat for months with out any issues.

Only thing Id be worried about, is if you have a small Draw somewhere you battery could go dead. If my Blazer doesnt get drove for a week or so its battery is dead. As far as Gas, I wouldnt worry about it. Throw a jug of injector cleaner junk in there the first time you fill it back up, if your worried about it.

Well I just filled it up all the way and put some fuel stabilizer in so its set to go. I'm packing and getting my room in order b/c we fly out tomorow at 7:30 in the morning!

I'm so excited! :)

Yeah I'm not worried about that b/c they said I can park it in their driveway and they'll be home the entire month... not to say it couldn't happen but its less likely compared to leaving it on campus all alone w/ next to no activity around it for the month...
