Anybody coming to Moab for EJS?

Burbs are not so hot for pritchett, too high, too heavy, too much overhang.
We took Salbaum through in his K5 on 35's a couple years ago and did OK but it's been dug out a lot since then so I'm sure it will be a good bit harder.

At the end of the day, I'd rather be on the trail with a 'burb on 35's equipped with a driver with brains than any buggy manned by a moron. We can get an under equipped truck through but we still can't fix stupid on the trail.

I'll set up a different run earlier in the week on something like the spike or gold bar that will work well for the "more usable in real life" trucks.

Well I may be there but I'm going to save the body damage on the burb it's too nice and I'm a wimp :D I just don't want to thrash it and end up with what I can build anyway, going to get a suburban/buggy ready for BB08. Basically build what I want instead of wreck what I have into what I want.

Plan at this point is pritchett wed with petersens. I'll figure the rest out soon. I'm trying to get us on gold bar and down to the crack but they have the trails jammed up with "exclusive use" so I'm not sure what we'll do. There's some gray area where some of the trails begin and end and I don't know how nazi they're going to be about some of it. Tom Cherry (works in our shop) got to talk to the helicopter cop about being on poison spider last year when it wasn't signed for the day. Not something I want to do.

I'll post specifics but it'll probably be something like meet at the movie theater at 6:30-7 and be ready to roll. We need to be on the trail early to get in front of as much traffic as possible and there are some of us that have to be out for dinners and other business stuff.

Anyone know if potato salad hill is going to be open? There were rumors of it being closed if I remember right.

OK, here's the deal....
We'll go into behind the rocks monday, it's officially open that day so we won't have any problems with the red rockers.

tuesday I'm leaving a little open right now but one leading option is to go into gold bar or metal masher.

Wed is pritchett leaving shortly after a 7am meet up.

Anyone interested needs to email me: stephen @ our site dot com
and I'll get you the specifics for where we're meeting and when.
thurs and friday we'll be in our booth but by then the group should be able to come up with a plan on it's own. and a down day on thursday is typically OK with everybody.
thanks guys
SW

Time's getting short, give me a call at the shop number tomorrow if you're wanting to come along and we'll finish out the list.
I'm getting kind of excited, it should be pretty fun.
