The Super Duty on the cover of the latest Fourwheeler magazine has their front bumper. Has anyone ever seen them? They'd look good if they adapted them to a K5. What do y'all think?

Nice! I think a few members here have that style of bumper on their trucks. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Looks like they really kill your approach angle... Look nice though.

True, but if you take a look at the link "Bumpers on Trucks" It will show you various models with the bumper. There is one where there is a late model White Chevy with a Can-Back top; it's approach angle is pretty good. The Fords are the ones that suck. BTW, some of those SuperDuty's and Ex.'s dont even look like they are used for thier intended purpose, what was it again....

Oh yeah, to go off road /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

i saw that issue and was wonderin about the bumper, and couldnt find it anywhere. but they are definately nice. thanks for the link.

I think I'd go with one of Butch's bumpers over any of those. They all look quite bulky IMHO. They also look pretty spendy...

Yeah, I figured they were like Road Armor bumpers. Looks great, but are really heavy and expensive. Just for giggles I emailed them and asked if it was possible to adapt them to a Blazer/Jimmy and how much it would cost. I'll let y'all know what they'll say /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

I called these guys a couple months back and asked them if they had any plans to build a bumper for 2nd generation K5's and they told me it would be by the end of the year. The price range was around 1200.00 to 1500.00 for the front winch bumper. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gifI think they misunderstood me cause they now have one out for the 88-98 GM c/k trucks, which he might have thought I was talking about those bodystyles cause I told him it was for an 89 Blazer. I get that alot when I tell people what year my K5 is, people just assume or don't know that the old body (2nd generation) was used until 91 on the fullsize blazers /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
