Anybody ever hit their face with a ratchet?

HAHAHAHA, just saw this and had to comment on what happened to me a few weeks ago.

Was using a HUGE crescent wrench as a pry bar...it worked...the driveshaft broke free. Loud bang, darkness, then started spitting out pieces.....

stabbed myself in the cheek with needlenose about 20 yrs ago, then last yr I knocked out a tooth with my big 1/2 Snappy ratchet...
 
I bonked myself retorquing my leaf spring bolts with the torque wrench... sitting on the ground trying to torque them to 110 ft/lbs is a bad idea, especially with your brother telling you how to do it and distracting you. You will get the knurled wrench knob imprinted on your forehead for a while, and the mother of all headaches.

Wow! You're very brave. If that happened to me, I'd be at the dentists within 5 minutes having him making me some new tips to fix those. :eek1:
 
happened on a sunday afternoon....it was all leftover vicodin and bourbon until the dentist opened on monday. Im all fixed now.....$800 later. would have been cheaper (and less painfull) to have paid someone to do my axle swap for me!
 
i did that a couple years ago. 18mm impact wobbly socket flew off my impact gun, went threw my bottom lip and broke a upper tooth. i got the tooth fixed. still have the socket. i also bought a new retaining ring for my impact gun.
