Ok, here's the deal. Rausch Creek Off Road Park puts on demos at some of Carlisle Events car shows. Well next week (June 27th) is the GM show. We are short on rigs for the show due to it being the same weekend as W.E.Rock at Rausch. We are looking for some capable rigs for the show. If interested please see this thread on RC's forum and contact Bruce.

There are some pics in this link. This is not for GM's only so if your buddy has a Jeep or Ford they are welcome to come. Also did I mention, it is free. You will get your rig, towrig, and trailer in for free. Just bring your cooler and hang out and show off in front of a crowd.

links dont work :(

and what do you mean by "capible" rigs??? ive never been to Rausch Creek Off Road Park, but i live in VA, and would be interested in getting some mud on the tires. My truck is pretty much 100% stock M1009 military rig on 33x12.50 MTR's. Its a great trail rig but i probably wouldnt try to tackle moab with it. :wink1:

edit - i might even get my brother to come along, he's got a 1973 bronco thats never seen the dirt since he's owned it. hope he's got gas money though, its got a piss poor running ford racing 302 in it. darned edelbrock carbs.

Links work fine for me. Not sure what the problem is. Might have to join the site first. http://www.rc4x4.org/rcforum/index.php Look under the General 4x4 section for the thread. As far as capable rig, I would reccomend at least a rear locker and not afaraid of hammering on it. If your open front and back you can try what you want and just stay off the stuff you don't want to hit. I will have my K5 and my daughter will most likely be driving the old Bronco on 42's.

its got the gov-bomb in it, and 10 bolt axles, so i suppose ill just have to watch how much i hammer on it. i needed an excuse to put a 14bff in there anyway ;)

im not sure yet if i can make it out, money is kind of tight, but ill definatly look into it.

damn man! i was at rausch two weeks ago and freakin axle wrap twisted up my rear. im off that weekend too :(

crap, i really wish i saw this a while ago... i'm going to cross-post this link onto a couple other local boards...

you can do about 80% of the park w/ your setup as long as you don't mind the occasional scrape or dent in a bumper or rocker. anything green or blue. there's bypasses for anything black or red. i get around fine w/ a 2" lift and 35s. i have tagged a rocker and bent up the corners of the bumpers a little. w/ a 4" lift i probably wouldn't have hit anything.

if you notice, the blue k5 in those pics isn't lifted very much, is only running about a 35" tire and is able to get around on the competition course

Yeah, but the other 20% is the fun stuff. What it really comes down to is what line you take.

well im out. couldnt get off work. more heads up next time would be helpful with the boss. Im a car salesman, so getting saturdays off is tough as is, really hard with just a weeks notice. gotta work 9-5 on saturday......... or convince the planning comittie to throw these shindigs on sundays, and ill be there.
