I have been looking around for a set of heads for the 400 im building. It seems that heads are going to cost as much as im going to have into the rest of the motor so im trying to find the best bang for the buck. I was reading a magazine article about the top ten most purchased aftermarket heads and came across these: https://shop.enginekits.com/osb/itemdetails.cfm?ID=2910

For a fully assemble set of aluminum heads it seems too good to be true. Especially when the same set bare is only like 40 bucks cheaper.:dunno: I've never heard of this brand and the price has me wondering about the quality so I'm curious if anybody has used these before? thanks

I would do some research and find out the actual manufacturer. If they are the pro comp ones. Stay away. Eff-ing junk.

I see that they sell a lot of procomp parts. hmmm...

I cant find anyone with personal experience with them but from some things I found it seems they are most likely junk, which is what I figured. Guess ill keep looking unless someone has soemthing good to say about them.

The BEST head you can buy is AFR. I wouldn't even consider anything else.

Tangential to this discussion, Procomp is the house brand of Transamerica Autoparts aka 4 Wheel Parts Warehouse, so they could be ... anything. And are very often Chinesium. With shocks, say, they likely come off the same lines as the low-end units from other brands, but they're just whatever 4WPW can import/get cheap. (Which may or may not be bad ... just, you know, caveat emptor.)
