Like the title says, does anybody here wheel on Iroks? Ive got a chance to potentially trade a set of my 37s for some 39 inch Iroks. Just wondering how their performance off road was. Also if anyone has driven them on the street how did they fare?

I used to have Iroks in both a 36" and a 42" size on my ramcharger. Pretty darn close to a K5. Anyways, the tires were okay. Didn't really shine anywhere in patuciular but did everything okay. The smaller size through 39" use a tread that is not quite as deep as the 42" and up tread design. They do have a Very slight scoop to the tread blocks when new. I found the tsl/sx to be the best all purpose tire from interco. I currently only run pitbull rockers anymore on my off road rigs.

I hope you find this somewhat helpful.

Kinda what he said.

My buddy had them, and was cussing his 39's more than I was my 38's.

There were a couple soupy situations that my sx's walked up a ledge and his 39's left him stranded.

most people don't like the IROK's in the mud, in the rocks they seem to do pretty good.

And they have bias and radial IROK's, something you should know when looking at them.

I think I'm gonna pass on them. Haven't heard great reviews, and the wheeling I do is rocky and wet a lot of times...

I ran 39 iroks and the were good. Never left me stranded and never didn't do what I asked. Wheeled nearly every trail in las Cruses. Dealing with tires every day now I have found the new interco tires sub par even from before. Even the people running the joint now are a pain to deal with. My .02

Ditto what Skunked said. Some of the bigger mud truck around here has 44s and 49s when they came out. They didn't like them nearly as much as boggers or regular TSLs. The softer rubber let the lugs bend more and didn't give them as much traction. Of course, that's also what rockcrawlers liked about them. I've seen a lot of them w/ sliced sidewalls, too.

I've got them and they have worked great so far. Mine are 42", when on the trail I usually air down to about 8 psi and they grip everything. And I drive my blazer to and from the trail

Bumping this back up... the guy is really on me about the tires and I am basically getting them for way less than I could buy them for.... Anybody wanna talk me out of this?

I don't see anything wrong with that trade. It's worth the try.

So you are still keeping the Baja's?

Just be careful driving them on the street because I feel the softer rubber wears faster. I hardly drive mine on the street anymore unless we're taking it out
