anybody know how long a 2wd k5 blazers driveshaft is? cant seem to find that info

Its a 700 r4... i really should get the tailshaft housing on first and just measure it... yah ill just do that but if you already took the measurement ill take it nlany ways haha so no ones time was completly wasted

I want to say it is like how long does it take a woman to orgasm, who cares. But that would be mean so I won't say anything.

but you did say it.

and to orignal post. best thing is to get tranny set up as needed and then with weight on it and slip yoke out were it needs to be measure from center of u-joint cap to center of u-joint cap. and also will need diffrent slip yoke as 4wd one is to big for 2wd tail shaft splines and dia.

Sweetk30 yah chek my post before yours, thanks for the heads up tho......

n yah who cares about the driveshafts length ill just get 1 out of any truck. If no one cares it would fit right? Kick rocks bro.... thought thks would be a place to get usefull info n legit help from others, not dumbasses with bad jokes.

Sweetk30 thats what my plans wer but i just wanted to kno just in case i go pick 1 up from a auto dismantler i could at least take a measurement and not get stuck with the wrong driveshaft. But there is a local guy who makes driveshafts. And still i would know if im in the ball park, i already accepted they might be a couple inches different because i did a axle flip. Just a maybe though

I just don't understand why you would want a 2wd? Besides, I have kicked plenty of rocks in my day. Most stuff it is just as easy to get your yoke put it in the transmission and pull it out an inch, then measure the center to center yoke to yoke then find or have it built. No need for panty bunching.
