Anybody know what a bare big block weighs?

A followup: A metric BUTTLOAD. More than one average guy, or at least one average me, can heft... so I drug it over to the tailgate on the motor stand, horked one end up into the truck, then shoved, being careful not to remove fingers, until it was off the stand.
Next time, I want a hobby with small parts.

Come on, i swing those blocks around all day easily. The block alone is about 100 lbs.

Bare block is about 250 lbs.
Well, i guess i was wrong. The block just feels that light to me 
but after researching it a bit i found that a 9.8" deck block weighs in at 258 lbs. give or take a couple lbs.
