... stock bucket seat mounts for a crew cab or stock bench-equipped pickup...? i got buckets and the center console out of my 86 K5 and put them into my 86 crew cab today... i know i couldn't have used the stock 'outer' mounting brackets and planned to use the bench ones... well, the bench ones aren't high enough, and they're broken, but they'll do for the moment until i find the right ones... or if i have to, make some... LMC and JC Whitney don't have them and i don't know where else to look...

junkyard, dealership, classifides (look for someone parting out their truck), ebay, craigslist,

or like you said, just fab up some angle iron yourself and build the mounts to your specs.

make your own, its not too difficult. maybe try salvage yard. seems like lmc should have it, i just got a new catalog yesterday, ill check to be sure....

i checked my LMC catalog before i left home, and i checked their online catalog just to make sure... i'd like to find stock ones just because that would be 'easier' and i on't have access to a welder until school starts again in september... i'm on ebay now, and CL is a pain in Buffalo but it might be worth it...

I can check the GM parts manual when I get home tonight, no telling if GM still lists them. I CAN say that most certainly they aren't going to be cheap lol.

i didn't even think to check my manual...! that would be great if you can post up, i'm not sure if i even have interior parts left in it... hey, a part number can get me a description, and a description can help me make them...!

If you get a 40-20-40 seat like this, you should be able to bolt it to a facory bench seat mount.

i've found a bunch of people on CL with bench stuff... i might just get a pair and play with them...

I have a crew cab and a single cab, and I looked at the bench seat brackets on both. The crew cab seat bracket is the same on the front feat as the single cab, but slightly different on the back (slightly longer and curved downwards).

The single cab brackets are shorter and flat on the back mounts. Since single cab seat brackets are a "dime a dozen" in junk yards, you could probobly get one of these and redrill the floor for the bracket mounts on the back side. The front side bracket mounts should line-up fine.

Should be for the Suburban. Same floor in regards to the seats as the Crew Cabs IIRC. The single cabs are in there as well.

Either way, all those are probably disco'd, GMPD doesn't list them, but you can always try calling your local dealer with those numbers, if they are any good.

awesome thank you...

i haven't been able to get anybody to come up with seat brackets around here, and i haven't had the time to try a junkyard yet... maybe tomorrow...
