I want to know where to get those clevis mounts on the CUCV M1009's, other than getting them off the truck itself. Does anybody make them? Does anybody have a more detailed pic? Or does anybody know how make 'em? Is it just tubing connected to the frame? Thanks for the info.

Hey Burt, did he compensate for the 3 inch body lift when he made that bumper? I'd asked him about that and he said "No problem.". How beefy are the bumper brackets?

YES he did, I also had him make it tight, he did allright too tight. Look at the pic again, see how close it is to the bottom of the grill and the center of my grill pookes out so no room for a winch untill I extend the bumper out about two inches. Here is a side pic of the mounting plate to the frame

See the three grade 8 bolts, the plate comes without holes and you simply line up the bumper were you want it and mark the plate from exsisting fram holes and dril or torch the holes and then bolt it up. THe plates are VERY strong.

Rock ON!

I am a civilian contractor working at a military post. I have access to an unlimited number of those clevices, cheap.
The only thing is, they are kinda heavy so shippin and handling would be a bitch! Maybe I could bring a box of em to the next k5 run we have, if I can make it that is.

The actual MOUNTS? Or just the clevis/shackle? I'm just looking for the mounting apparatus.
