That's the same same style of cut that Bowtie did on his truck but that's not his cause his was brown. I believe Bowtie has a bro-in-lw with a gray K5 with that radical cut. Try posting this on K5Crawler, that's Bowtie's site.

thats an awesome k5.... both visually appealing with some awesome gear under it... something anyone can appreciate.

what springs is he using(brand and lengths),what lift is he running with what size boggers, did he move the front axle at all. he's got a pretty good flex shot and they don't look like they hit the firewall so I was curious if he moved it forward or not.

of course this is all pertaining to the truck when it was in the stage of the pic in this post and not his new setup.

Well You Found Me

Hey Brother Thanks For The Compliment, Any More Questions Let Me Know. R U Planing The The Same Setup?

Works Pretty Good I Did Rub Up Front A Good Amount. I Rubed W/ The 42's Also

Now W/ The 44's Im More Then Sure I Will Rub For Sure Cause I Will Droping The K5 Soon Doing The 52's In The Front 56's In The Rear

Let Me Know If You Have Any ?

Yeah I'm going for the same kinda setup. I'm going with a 2in body then a 6in spring lift. And want to go with 40in boggers. I'm not to worried about fender clearence I was gonna trim em pretty good anyway. I was just curious if you had problems with the tires hitting the firewall with the stock length springs.

I DID RUB THE FIRE WALL BACK PART OF FENDER, AFTER I PULLED THE INNER FENDER WELL OUT I CUT AS FARE BACK AS I COULD & I STILL RUBED. THERE IS SOME METAL ON THE FIRE WALL THAT IS JOINED TOGETHER I BEAT IT DOWN w/ A HAMMER & SPRAY PAINTED THE FIRE WALL BLACK TO SEE WHERE I RUBBED. I PEALED THE MEATLE BACK W/ THE TIRE, THE PAINT CAME OFF

Did you run without the inner fender well the whole time. I'd like to try and keep mine as the truck will see mostly mud and don't want to drown the engine.

No Just When I Need To Cut More Body & Wanted Easyer Access To The Engine (spark Pluges) More Flex. :d My Truck Don't Do Mud :d
