I'm running 52's with a zero rate. Im putting in a D60 and would like to know if I will run into problems putting the zero rates in the 1.5" forward position, making the total distance 3.5" forward. I'm running Sky's crossover with a bent draglink. Anyone have any input on this? I did some searching, but didn't come up with a definite answer. What about 3". Im also installing the ORD HD crossmember this week as well, I know that will help on the crossmember hitting the draglink.

Not sure how far forward mine is, I got 56's, I had to mave it towards the firewall 1" because the High Steer tie rod was hitting the pitman arm. If you have crossover/ lowsteer, I think you'll be ok.

i just set mine up like that, 52s and the zero rate 1.5" forward. everything seems to be fine, only thing is i might be able to hit my pitman arm with my u bolts, but my springs are already pretty flat, so i dont think ill have enough up travel to do so.

Thanks for the replies fellas. I guess I will try it and see what happens. From what you guys are saying I should be OK. I will post up my findings for future reference.

ProtechK5, do you have any pics from the side with tires mounted? Also what size tires are you running?

i take back what i said. it just snowed here so i took it out, my drag link is hitting my spring, dont know how i didnt notice that before. i have ord cross over, stock 52 with 4 leafs plus the overload, zero rate, and shim. and i still think i need a add another leaf, my springs are pretty dang flat.

ill take one tonight if i remember. im running 40x13.50 mtrs. my approach angle is pretty good. my tires almost stick out as much as the end of the frame.

Is the draglink only hitting when flexed? You might need a taller steering arm. I had that happend on my first K5 when I added a homemade 3/4" zero rate to my 4" springs. With 52's and a zerorate that would make a pretty thick spring pack.

Yeah my draglink was hitting when flexed with my 10 bolt in too. I could have prevented that with some bumpstops. I had SKY's tall steering arm, but with 4 leafs, zero rate, and overload, it made for a thick spring pack. I'm hoping 3.5" forward will do OK. Guess I will find out soon enough. It seems with a D60 there will be a little more room between the springs and draglink. Could just be an optical illusion though.

I am running mine 3.5" foward too. I am using 56" springs on a home-made front spring hanger. I am running ORD highsteer, & 42" TSL's.
