I am thinking of camping at BFE. It's free, there is a big lot, some separated camp/tent sites, no real rules (working on cars, pets etc). I know its a few miles south of town, but 2 of my 5 days there I will be wheeling at BFE. I have a tent trailer mounted on my flatbed and don't want to pay $200 to camp at an RV park. Just wondering if anyone is going to do the same?

I might. But it would be at the beginning of the week before my son gets there. For a couple of nights to save some funds. $65 a night to park my rig seems expensive. I don't use near that in utilities and I had to clean up the fake fire.

And you should donate something to BFE for the stay. Helps keep it open.

If I come down before my family does that is where I will stay.

Area BFE is privately owned hence lots of expenses. So they have a donation box at the gate there.

I was planning on throwing some in the donation box just b/c I support what they are doing.

Let us know (it's my bro who started this thread), it would be cool to meet you. Will you bring Horton?

I will give a healthy donation. Owners seem to stand for what I stand for. Buy some bad A$$ property, have sponsors and donors help pay for it, and keep it open for everyone. :woot:Better to spend my money there than at some RV park.

Anyone who wants to camp with us can. My setup is with an 8 ft tent trailer mounted on my modified flatbed, which you can see some of in the below pic.

yeah, I didn't donate last year. How's that work btw?

I'm glad to hear all the support for Area BFE. They have always been VERY supportive and helpful with having Blazer Bash out there. They also have a free app you can donate through or even donate on their website.
