Loking at general grabber atz. Found a preety good price for the DD. Seem to have a better load rating for tow/haul that most comparable tires and just a hair over $800 installed. Good reveiws but I would rather her from the boys.

I ran the Grabber A/Ts on my Nissan pickup years ago. Really solid tire. Almost the exact same tread pattern as the BFG A/T KOs - decent in the rain, good in the slop, great in the snow. Wore like iron, quiet enough on the road, and really not much to complain about. The Nissan was my work truck so it was always loaded with tools or lumber or something.

IMO, they're pretty comparable to the BFGs. The only reason I chose the KOs over the Generals for my K5 was that the BFGs were on sale at the time. If I were to do it again, I'd probably go with the Grabbers and save myself a few $$ per tire, especially for a DD that only sees some offroad use.

Thanks man I have had the bfg's and coopers and kumho and like them all. Price for the generals is like $3.00 more than the kumho's so thinking something new. Especially with the load rating.

I had the AT 2's on my dually and actually still do. I loved them. The were really quiet, worked great in the snow and sand. And I pulled 15,000 lbs of loaded trailer and 2200 ponds of in bed camper and have no complaints on them.

Again thanks for helping me make up my mind. Snow is finally getting here and have been holding off as long as possible. Bites into the budget but $812.00 installed is better than the $1000-1100 I was crapping down my leg about spending.
