Just doing a bit of brainstorming on my next project. I don't have the capability to build so more than likely I'll buy them. Notice that these yokes in the pic does NOT use straps or ubolts. I'm thinking of using these yokes with flanges on everything, 14b, d60 and the 205.. Yes, I'm aware this will mean I need to carry spare sets, driveshafts and yokes in all one piece.

So who's running these 38 degree CV yokes? I want to hear good/bad experiences with them.

Thats badass you can drop the shaft without messing with ujoints like a toyota.

Exactly the reason why I want it. This isn't going on the Blazer, it's for the buggy build I have planned up.

Maybe I should get it it anyway.

I'm running them....

Lol, just buy them you cheap bastard, and let us know how they work...

hes right... i would like to hear how they work...

now that makes me sound like a cheap bastard... hmm

Why?

Sure, its easier to deal with when you need to pull the shafts (I've pulled mine less than once a year for the past 5 years).

And they can go to 38 degrees but there's no way your truck needs more than the 30 deg. that a 1410 joint can do.

And yeah, the bolts don't get hit by rocks (though I haven't had trouble with killing u-bolts).

But they cost twice what a modified (u-bolt style) yoke costs, x4. That's almost $400 more than the conventional option.

I won't need these for the Blazer, I'm leaving it alone. I'm thinking of using them on the tube chassis buggy I have planned out, double trianglated 4-links, coilovers, ford 60 and ford doubler, etc.
I know I should be getting seat time, but in that Blazer, it's gonna take forever with the condition it's in and I'm not pouring more money into it. I'd rather get seat time in the new buggy with confidence knowing it's built right.
