17 inch rims. I was looking at some in the catalog today and they had 5" backspacing, which seems like a lot. Just wondering how it looks on a rig.

I can't think of anybody on here running them...(that doesn't mean there isn't someone, though)
There is not a whole lot of market right now for off-road/large tires on 17" rims...and the ones that are out there are big $$$$.
5" backspacing is going to be too much. You'll be grinding your pretty and $$$$ rims on the tie-rod ends.

thats what i thought. I guess it means ill have to settle for hummer rims /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
