Just like the title says... It's way cheap compared to some others plus it comes with the dies/rollers. I'm just trying to see if it would be worth it. Thanks in advance.

FYI: it says it only bends up to .08 wall tubing which is kinda thin for a roll cage. Also can't bend more than 60 degrees in the larger cage size tubing.

Yeah I saw both of those... I read in the reviews that a guy used it for .138 wall which is more than I'd need. The 60* is without moving the tubing right? I'm not certain that anything that I'd be doing for mine would be more than 60*. I have no idea though, just looking around at some stuff. I probably won't get anything right now anyways just because shipping will be a fortune and steel is through the roof out here (along with everything else). A small bottle of argon/CO2 is $158 to fill out here:doah: It hurts the butthole...

Ouch. You don't get any sympathy from this side of the ocean though. :)

Is there anyone over there with a bender that you can pay to bend something up more economically?

yeah, I should be able to work that if I decide I want to do the cage here. For now I actually think I'll just be doing under-body stuff to not run the rocker boxes and finish it up when we move. I've got bigger fish to fry in the next year than the cage. It's got to be able to drive itself to the docks in 11 1/2 months so it's go time on everything else.

Search for the build n greet thread. we used one that looked exactly like that but yellow. It did fine on .120 wall. also search for the "iron maiden" thread. the whole cage is done with one like that. for metal go here

http://www.metalsdepot.com/index.phtml?aident= I just did an order with 700lbs of steel tube, sheet, and flat stock in 4x8 and 20' sizes. and it was $27 to ship it to my front door

I'll check it out, but I bet it's crazy shipping to Hawaii. Everything is. Thanks for the heads up on the bender though, I'll check them out!

Hawaii:eek1: yeah that would be higher:rolleyes:

yeah, I just tried inputting something and it kept saying I was putting an incorrect address...
