Anybody using a Painless Wiring Harness?

I have had multile wiring issues on my 71 Jimmy and am considering purchasing a Painless Wiring Harness. Anybody running one? If so I assume it can't be that difficult to install. Any drawbacks? Other alternatives? The part # is 10206. I think summit sold it for $300 bucks.

I used one in my '56. Pretty happy with it. Simple to put in the truck if you take your time.

I've been contemplating this exact same thing for my 72 Blazer. Is that part number specific to the Blazer/Jimmy?

ya it is but the have different p/n for different years, i bought the one that had all the extras on it to like power windows and locks, and now im rippin it out cause in junkin the blazer, i love spending money on stuff and than gettin rid of it /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif anny way i think mine was around 500$'s but like i said I think it was the 18 curcuit one but way good quality!!!

Cool, on the info part, not cool, on the junking part. I wasn't sure if they had one specific to the 72 Blazer. Where did you pick yours up if you don't mind my asking?

I am using Painless's TPI harness for the MAF setup. I really like it and it is a good setup. It works really well and I would recommend painless highly.
