I've got an '87 V10 SWB truck with single headlights and just swapped an '89 V-series front clip over to it due to the '87 having a front end damaged clip.
When I went to hook up the wiring harness from the '89 to the '87 fuse box, the plug-in part is different. Will not even come close to hooking up to the fuse box.
Do I need to cut and splice the '87 plug onto the '89 wires? I believe there are the same number and colors of wires between the two. The '89 has the small side-by-side quad headlight setup.
Help! I can't get the truck to start/run until I get the wires hooked back up on the fuse box.
