Anyone done vinyl wraps?

who ever is writing on your glass in the dust needs to be kicked in the NUTS :doah::yikes:

that scratches glass and lots of times wont come out .

guy i know at a body shop had a customer come in and say since my car was here now in the morning dew on the windshield i have some STUFF ( not good stuff ) on there and i need it fixed . someone had drawn some stuff on the glass and then they washed it off. in the end after trying they had to put in a new windshield . . . :doah::doah::doah:

and it you take care of the wrap it will work for years . . i like the color . . . here is kind of a teaser shot for ya even tho its paint and a truck .

Are you installing it wet?

So you still have to prep it like paint and it takes just as long to put on and is about the same price as paint if you do it yourself?

I got away with 5x30 feet and had plenty. Prep wasn't bad and the wrap only cost me $550

I was gonna do Line-x = $4k....then vinyl like you did = $2-3k to have someone do it in Vegas. I don't have the time to do the labor myself (wish I did). I decided to do raptor liner. Super easy to spray on at home with minimal time/labor. $300 for the whole truck.

I love the color you picked and the crazy options vinyl gives someone (like Merrick's camo). Can't wait to see the finished product.

my buddy who does decals for people a lot says sunlight / heat helps bond it and get air out . . . and a good sharp pin .

That looks really good. I've contemplated doing this on my crew cab...

I did it around 8 months ago. Its all on how many coats you spray. I did 6 coats with the diy sprayer. Should come off fairly easy.
