Did they just take the whole donor frame and drop it on top of the stock frame?

I,ll have ask him. I know he had to do a small body lift to get the engine to fit.and he went through three different trans to get it to work. Its a manual.the truck is from South Caralina.

I like that truck but the location of the FASS filters would worry the crap outa me if I ever left the pavement.
Thats why i took the pic,i thought the same thing.its mostly a trail rig.

i did the swap in my crew cab, not bad really.
