I swear this happend to me more than once, i was doing some minor wheeling, and i was just going in 2wd, started to get into deeper sand on an incline so i locked the hubs, and put it in 4lo and just kept going, crawling over everything. At one point i had to back up, then i started foward again and started getting stuck, my hubs unlocked. I swear this happend more than once, anyone else?

Usd to have a set on my old 85 pickup that would lock in on their own going down the highway.
turned out it had the wrong type of c clip on the spindle. it had the one with the ears on the outer side and they would catch on the splines of the hub and lock in.
switched the c clips and never a problem again

Pull the hub dial and look for marks where the stub shaft has been rubbing against it.

Ill take a look and take picture, there are two different hubs on it right now if that may cause it. They seem to have a habit of unlocking. It was suppose to be only a temp fix, i need new hubs. I liked the originals but i broke one :(

I couldn't get mine to stay locked either -- Warn Premiums. Wound up flipping the guts / springs around internally to turn them into flanges since it is an offroad only truck anyways

thanks man ill probably do that, my own stupidy broke one of the hubs. I know one is like a 400 degree turn and the other is like a 30 degree turn
