I actually feel pretty bad to have to bring this up, but my buddie has been jerked around by ORU worse than any honest customer should ever be. We have been waiting for almost two months for a straight axle kit for his 92 standard cab short box chevy. He has a dana 60 from a 97 f**d so we decided to use the ORU kit because it's designed for the f**d axle. He has called once or twice a week since he placed his order and nothing has happened for him. Who else has a straight axle crossmember that works for a f**d D60? I haven't been too worried about his ordeal because I'm not really ready do deal with him and his truck yet but this can't happen. I have already told him to cancel the order and tell them to pack sand, but we don't know of anyone else that has what we need.

ORU is a bling bling shop thats over priced big time, but they do build a good product, or atleast some of thier stuff is good. I personally would never buy from them but when I had my 2K crew cab I wanted to do a SSA swap but their kit was insanely over priced IMHO. Their SSA kit is a good kit though. Nothing that could not be fabricated your self with other vendors products. Look at Diy4x4 & Ruffstuff specialties and ORD for parts.

Hate to say, but I had some similar issues. It took me 6 weeks to get some parts from them. So when time came for the sas kit I went to a 4WP that I know a guy at and he ordered them for me. Those I got in 10 days. Seems 4WP parts has more clout then you or I. Worked out nice in the end though.

Awwww, whats the matter? Can't spell Ford? Too ashamed to spell it? Just a heads up that I've got 2 Fords and I'm not ashamed of that. I'm proud enough of them that I can spell the whole name out without being embarassed.

Personally, I'm tired of seeing people spell it like you did. I'm also tired of "ferd" or "furd", too.

Was talking to a guy yesterday who bought their kit, similar problems. Took forever to get the kit and when he did he had to modify every piece he pulled out of the box. He was putting it in his brothers 2001 2500 with a Ford 60. I haven't dealt with ORU personally, but from what I have heard, I never will.
