anyone else have weird '89 spring bushing size?

My '89 Blazer has 1 3/4" rear spring bushings. ORD's site says they should be 1 3/8", or maybe a metric size around 1 7/10".

Anyone else encounter similar strangeness? I'm pissed because now, instead of finishing this thing up this weekend, and having it for Monday, I'll be waiting to send out my bunk bushings and maybe get back to it next weekend... and that was my DD.

Not ORD's fault though. I blame GM!!!


and I would have measured but the bushing was all mushroomed out and the sleeve rusted in, so total accuracy was impossible until I got all that crap out.

I have a set of poly greaseable from ORD 1 3/4 that I can't use

ORD has the 1.7in metric and they work for my 89 burb

These are definitely bigger than 1.7. They are a touch bigger than 1.75", actually. I haven't mic'd them yet though.

I seem to recall there being a third size ... oh, wait. ORD says 1 3/8, 1 1/2, and the weird one.

I betcha yours is the odd size ... like, umm , maybe 45mm?

There are two others not mentioned also 1 11/16 and 2 inches they fit 2000- 2009
