Anyone else take their top off yet?

For any of you guys that are thinking about getting a soft top, I will say this, getting a softopper was the single best mod I ever did to any of my blazers!! I'm going to sell my m1009 soon and a part of me wants to keep the softopper and just store it in the basement, in hopes that I will get another k5 sometime in the future
But realistically you should donate it to me. It would have much more fun out in the sun than in your basement

I checked adhuntr yesterday and saw a new in box Best Top on Craigslist for $400. I was ready to call the guy but I remember theirs required all the holes to be drilled. I really want to get a softtopper soon.

My top doesn't fit anymore after the cage install. May come up with a soft top later on but for now, winter is over here (I hope) so the only thing I have to worry about is a little rain and when its 110 and 1000% humidity a little rain feels good

anybody on here ever design a soft top for a 73-75 that doesn't require drilling?
Unfortunately no, that's my biggest issue and why I'm procrastinating on getting one. But will probably give in this year.

I don't want to alter my restored Blazer...but I do want to be able to drive it 400-800 miles and have the top off when I want it off...
Otherwise you put the hard top on and drive to the destination and then take it off...I'd like a soft top that will roll up and fit in the back
Chief easy fix. you get some flat stock for the sides and have it bent down to where the snaps would go. It then uses the factory holes to hold the flat stock down. As for the rear never figured that out.

If I remember correctly the only drilling I did was maybe 4 or 5 screws into the windshield frame. The snaps on the side bolted to the same holes as the hardtop. I wonder if you could modify the windshield snap rail to clamp on some how or bolt to the hardtop brackets with some reinforcing/modifying to eliminate drilling?

The problem is the windshield header, we don't want to drill.
And if we do the header strip has to come back off to use the hard top.
I've considered using rivnuts to make the front strip removable, but still requires drilling.
