So today a guy stopped at my house and asked if my Blazer was for sale. I told him no, and he started telling me that he sold one just like it about 4 years ago to a guy in the navy. Well I bought it from a guy in the navy, so I asked if he was the one that rigged up the cracked floors and he said, "Yep, I took 2 pieces of aluminum and sandwhiched the seat bracket and floor with them." I told him that not much of the blazer that he sold is srill there, just the body and interior. Well It's the same Blazer that he sold and he was just driving by, noticed it, and wants it back. Good thing I still have the ignition cylinder and door locks from my old Blazer, I guess this gives me a reason to swap them out. (Yes I am paranoid about someone stealing my stuff.)

I've got a thing or 2 to pay off before I build a shop, but I've been wanting to build one for a while. My big thing with building a shop is my wife is active duty airforce and I don't want to get halfway through building one and then her get stationed somewhere else, or finish it, but only get a few months of use and then have to move. But I'm sure it would bring up the value of my house when it is time to sell.
I forgot about the possibility of y'all moving. Finishing a shop and then having to leave would definitely suck.

If you're really worried about theft, be sure your insurance policy deductibles are up to date.

It's hard for me to not see one of my old trucks, I buy and sale alot of K5s and C/K trucks, but the funniest thing is I think I found one of my old Blazers on here that was sold a good time ago. I haven't found the paper work to pass on to the guy yet to see for sure, but if it's not it, it's a twin.

Ive had people ask me about my truck before, telling me it looks exactly like their old one so it must be. Except my truck looks nothing like it did when I bought it and Im the only person thats owned it since its been lifted and in its current condition.
My favorite one though was the guy that wanted to buy my truck because it looked exactly like his old one. Mine was an 85 and we had a short arguement after I told him there was no way it looked exactly like his 75
I hear ya on being paranoid too. My truck is ugly as can be and Im still worried about someone comming up and stealing it. The right person can change ignition lock cylinders in a few minutes on one of these things and then they have a key to it.

That is why mine is camo'ed, no one can see it in the driveway. Besides there is a stray cat that stays under it and she is MEAN!!!

Mine stays literally right outside my bedroom window at night. I wish I could set a timer on it to use the start up/idle of it as my alarm for work.

Run chains through the wheels and around the axles and bolt them to concrete posts dug 15ft into the ground.
I think chaining it down may be a bit overkill. It is right outside my bedroom window, so there is no way they could start it without me knowing. Also, the way I park my other truck, they'd have to move it first.
