I'll be cutting the holes for the gauges, radio, and speakers tonight. :) I'll post some more pics tonight with the good camera...

question..., why stainless?, besides the obvious answer,(cause I can). why not aluminum? light, and easy to work with. not being a smart a$$, just wondering.

Actually I used stainless as a tribute to my fiance's father who passed away from cancer this last Christmas. He was a Marine, then a Crop Duster Pilot, then he had his own fab shop which specialized in building the spreaders for the crop dusters, which were made out of stainless. This piece of stainless came from his shop. They gave this piece of stainless to me when we were cleaning out the shop because they know I also do a lot of metal work, so I wanted to do something cool with it that he'd be proud of.

It's finished! :D The brushed look is to get rid of scratches. Going to brush it better later with my dad's bench grinder with the wire wheel. Had to use my grinder with the wire wheel for now. Looks better without the flash. Everything fit perfect though. Working with stainless steel is a BITCH! Ate up countless blades and had to get Cobalt drill bits to drill the holes.
