I dont have the side panels in my K5 anymore, this would make it alot easier. So, im trying to come up with some interior lighting for the back.

Anyone do anything back there???

What about LED rope lighting tucked under the bed rail?

They use that stuff to light storage compartments in fire engines and it seems to work well in my experience.

get some of those push light deals they advertise on TV and sell at hardware stores. Takes a few batterys and you just push in on lens to turn on/off. If you left on at lest your truck won't have a dead battery. LED they should probably last a long time anyways.

Not on my rig but I helped a guy install a bunch of Leds around his truck. It was pretty cool they all came on when you opened the door.

So yah either LED rope lights or just a couple leds here and there

On my next blazer build I do plan to put "accent" lighting on. I will be making my own side panels and they will have the rope LEDs in them that will come on with the dome light

Havent done it yet, but I have a set of neon lights that tyipically go under cars (fast and furious style) I plan on mounting under the bed rails in the back. They are neon tubes that are about 3 foot long or so. Picked em up on the clearance rack for about 35 bucks. I dont know how well it will work, but it should be interesting.

I've got a couple tricks up my sleeve on this one that hopefully i'll be doing over the fall....... parts are bought, wiring desgned, etc... i will have a cargo LED light on the center, back of the b-hoop among other things...

most of my lights are LED stuff from Oznium.com
