Anyone ever put headers on a 6.2?

I know they are out there, so has anyone used them? Been thinking about what I'm going to do for a vehicle after school. Mileage is a concern, towing as well, thinking maybe the 6.2 wouldn't be a terrible option. Port heads, hummer intake, headers, nice exhaust and a five speed or 700R4 and I could live with it I guess.

Unless you make them yourself for real cheap, they are not worth it IMO.

I got a set of Hummer H1 headers for mine, but haven't got around to putting them on. FWIW I got them pretty cheap ($60 IIRC) and they are brand new.

They have frame clearance problems don't they?

like I posted in the Diesel section, think I may be able to get a turbo kit as well, so that would probably be the way to go.

I'll let you know when I bolt them up. If so I'll make whatever adjustments that I can. I know they are oriented exactly like the manifolds, drivers side is center dump, passenger side is rear dump at a 45 degree angle.

They're not high on my list of things I need/want to do right now though. I have too many other unfinished problems...errr, I means projects.
