Just wondering. Im going thru a "replace the topper glass" phase right now and thought about poly or Lexan. THe biggest sheet ive found is 48" , I need 51 or 57" (I forget which). But wondering if anyone has done this to their topper and what is the pro/cons to this.

My windshield is polycarbonate.

The pros are light weight and you'll never break it.

The cons are that its easy to scratch (easy fix with plastic polish) and it will eventually become hazy from sun exposure (some polycarbonate is UV resistant and will last much longer).

I've had mine on the truck for a couple years now and it still looks pretty good.
