anyone ever welded up front diff?

I got what I was originally after, two axles that have spools in them.

and that was a good reason for the sarcastic smiley? i gave an opinion, and said, "USUALLY" not all the time...

I know with my 14ff det locker and the front d60 welded, It was very hard to steer with 37s. When i did hydro assist, 2.0 ram, ps mod and new axle joints(old ones were destroyed and were real hard to bend the axles) with my 39s it steers great. I never had a front locker , I did the assist to see if steering would be better before i spent the money. If 1 have the extra 600 or so to do a locker in my 60 i prob would but for now its fine and works real good.
